Cheese Waxes

    Blended Waxes, Inc. began manufacturing cheese waxes for Wisconsin dairy farms the day we opened our doors. Our cheese waxes, colored and uncolored, are FDA approved for direct contact with food products. We continue to offer these traditional cheese waxes for customers who are looking for a creative method to package their product.  Custom colors available upon request.

BW-100F Cheese Wax Series
-BW-100F: A flexible, non-cracking, Clear wax blend with excellent coating properties and internal strength
-BW-102F: BW-100F with Brown FDA compliant pigments  (Pantone 4695C)
-BW-104F: BW-100F with Yellow FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 109C)
-BW-107F: BW-100F with Black FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 412C)
-BW-109F: BW-100F with Cheddar FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 1235C)
-BW-123F: BW-100F with Green FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 349C)
-BW-130F: BW-100F with Red FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 1935C)
-BW-117F: BW-100F with Orange FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 1665C)
-BW-150F:BW-100F with Navy Blue FDA compliant pigments (Pantone 3025C)

The BW-100F series is available in a 10 lb slab format packaged into 55 lb cases or 2,000 lb sleeve boxes with slip-sheets.

Process Related Cheese Waxes
-BW-198M: Protective coating wax for boxes and drums used to store cheese. This is a non-peeling, flexible wax blend with an additive to prevent the growth of mites.
-BW-436: Plug Wax, with an anti-fungal additive, used to plug cores for cheese samples. 

The BW-198M is available in our easy-to-use pastille (bead) or 10 lb slab format. 

The BW-635 plug wax is available in 5-gallon (35 lb) pails.
